This Was a Really Good Book

in Books/Reading, Why It's Hard Being Me

Have I mentioned that I procrastinate?  Can I ask you to cast your eyes up to my header and read that part in the middle?  Or read How to Play the Procrastination Game, which I invented in 1982 but haven’t gotten around to manufacturing in board form.

I procrastinate particularly well when the task is something I care about, so… I’m gonna take another day to put up my impressions of the NY Listen to Your Mother show.

In the meantime, this post’s title constitutes my (lazy ass) Wordless Wednesday book review of this excellent memoir, which got richer as it went on. And which I read on my vacation at the end of March, along with two other good books I haven’t gotten around to telling you about.  They were good too.

Man, another Wordless Wednesday FAIL.

Jeanette Winterson's memoir

She had me at "normal."

Oooh, I almost bought that but didn’t (I was probably trying to show some restraint). Now I feel it would be wrong to not get it!
