Is it… ? Could it be… ?

in Everything Else

(a “venti iced americano with just a little milk, but very dark, thanks”)

While many are thrilling to the first chirps of birdsong, I’m happy because today was warm enough to warrant buying my first iced coffee of the season.

To each her own, right?

@joy: thank you for reminding me I had a sidebar. I used to enjoy playing around with it so much… I'll get back to you on the story.

Oh, but, what is the temp that you need it to be?

See? Iced coffee barometers….too open to the subjective.

We had nice weather yesterday. It was 60.

Today it's cold. Only in the 30s with high winds. Boo.

It's still too damn cold for any iced beverage. Well, except beer of course.

No iced coffee for me, but I did just polish off a coke slurpee. Wheee! It's 70 degrees today.

But it's supposed to return to freezing over the weekend.

Happy Almost Spring!

@The Empress: Iced coffee weather is self-determined. Unless your majesty is issuing a proclamation.
@WW: But doesn't the 60 give you a feeling of hope — a light at the end of the ice tunnel?
@Of course. The mayor of NYC just said he drinks his beer with ice cubes IN IT. Never heard of that before.
@Mrs. M: Exactly — almost Spring; that's what I meant to say above to WW.

Still too cold here in Northern Canada but soon. Hopefully?

Yay! I just wish this spring weather would last!

One of the many reasons I love you. I also embrace new seasons with food related milestones. Not warm enough here for an iced coffee. Yet.
