This is the first of a series of videos cut from a typical car trip with Moochie. She performed an hour-long set of original, largely improvised material. The first 20 minutes are lost to posterity, as is the last half hour, because mom dropped the camera and developed a crick in her neck.

Hi guys. I'm wearing my version of an evening dress waiting for our formal night reservation. Mooch is in the kids' club; yahoo! I'm going to meet Phin in the casino, but even at 55 cents a minute, this might be a cheaper place for me to stay. I will catch up with everyone's blog when I get back. Missing you all, but to be honest, I think I'll pull through. The boat, however, does have a mall in its chewy center, and that wouldn't be my choice. Maybe a bigger pool and floating lounge chairs. Maybe more, I don't know… open space. A Starbucks would be kind of nice, or a Barnes and Noble Starbucks combo. (When dorks design cruise ships — film at 11.)
